VETERANS DAY EVENT

Thanks to CAM Activities and all involved, especially the Grand Flag Detail, for hosting an OUTSTANDING Veterans Day Event. If you weren’t there, you missed a very special time.  Veterans, Flags and Families were all honored in the Ceremony.

The AFSG sponsored an essay contest with a local 7th Grade class (thank you Barry Curseaden, Canyon Ridge School and Winny Fritz for putting this together).  The topic was “What a Veteran Means to Me”.  The young lady who won, bravely read her wonderful essay to the hundreds in attendance. Congratulations Kia.

Canyon Ridge School Presentation

As part of the Essay contest for this years Veterans Day Event, Jim Angarella and Barry Curseaden presented an AFSG Appreciation plaque to Canyon Ridge School for their participation. A GREAT job done by all of the students.
