The Sponsor’s Dinner is on Friday, March 7th. Check-in begins at 4:30 for those of you who have sponsored this year’s event.
The Golf Tournament is on Saturday, March 8. For those of you who are playing, check in begins at 11:30 at

We will now be playing on Granite Falls South due to maintenance on Desert Springs.

February Membership Meeting
We had 42 Members and some Guests attend the February 4th meeting. Those present heard the newly elected Mayor of Surprise, Kevin Sartor speak.
Mayor Sartor, a US Army Veteran, addressed such topics as future development in the city, transportation and safety issues and programs concerning Veterans in our area. Thanks go out to our Founder, Barry Curseaden for arranging this with the Mayor’s Office.
February Veterans Coffee Chat
Forty-one folks were present to hear an outstanding presentation by Grand resident, Jean Chough. Jean was a member of the South Korean Army where he served as a Military Policeman guarding the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. His presentation, titled “The Bridge of No Return” was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance and can be seen in the Grand Learning Program. Thanks again to Barry Curseaden for arranging for Jean to speak.

Note that this is the FIRST Tuesday of the month and not our usual second Tuesday due to the proximity of the Veterans Golf Event!!
The Guest speaker for the March 4th Coffee Chat is Richard “Rick” Kreiberg, Command Sergeant Major, US Army (Retired). He will be discussing VA Healthcare, resources and benefits available to Veterans.
